Reports About How Voice Dialogue Is Working For Others

Read those three interesting Case Studies from real people who experienced Voice Dialogue with Emergent Coach.

Case Study #1: Single mom creates a business and pursue meaningful connections.

Artist, anthropologist and college professor, Carol wanted to fully engage her passionate desire to make a living from her art. She was plagued by a Perfectionist/Pusher parts of her who never knew how to prioritize and create action from the endless lists they provided…each item on the list was designed to attend to yet another detail of her life….each one of these items were equally important.

As a single mom, her daily life left little time to open to the creativity that longed to emerge more fully from within her. With the help of Voice Dialogue, she was able to access her lost Planner and Organizer and began to make decisions about what was most important. She was able to turn the volume down on her Perfectionist/Pusher and thus subdue the constant anxiety and debilitating overwhelm she lived with.

With the help of her Planner/Organizer, she was able to put into action a timetable that was reasonable for her to focus more completely on her art. Out of the chaos of indecision she accessed the parts of her that needed to be present so she could create a business, pursue meaningful connections to sell her art and allow an inspired attention and intention for her life.

Case Study #2: Uncovered the selves that sabotaged her desires and persued her dream.

Susan had been unsuccessfully attempting to break into the marketing of musicians business. She had many skills that included managerial capability, huge drive and inspired creativity but could not convert them into a successful business.

In working with Voice Dialogue and attending the Path to Choice class, she uncovered the selves within her that sabotaged her every adult desire. They were children parts who had become frozen from early life experiences and always believed that staying ‘under the radar’ was the safest way to survive.

When Susan heard the concerns of those young parts of her, she was able to see how they blocked her desires for success. She could see how she ran away every time an opportunity for success showed up in her life. When she gained access to the parts of her that knew how to manage success and invited more of her capable entrepreneurial, business Selves into her life, the scared child parts quieted down. Today, she is managing lucrative contracts with businesses and joyfully walking her dream path.

“I learned about my magical and rebellious children parts of me that have been ruling my life, undetected, for many years. It has been such a violent and important discovery that it has literally shaken my foundation. I am grateful to you both for your passion and dedication to this work. I believe that the parts of me that have been revealed through this course were the ones responsible for preventing the changes I have worked so hard for my whole life.” – Susan

Case Study #3: Learned to see her accomplishments free from the loud judgments of her Inner Critic.

Maria was a college educated, community program director for a Latino family-focused organization. She was an outstanding visionary for the organization and took many courses and attended programs designed to grow her leadership qualities. She was the recipient of many awards for her dedication and hard work. In her early 30’s, her accomplishments were well beyond what someone her age might achieve. She had a big part of her who was a Visionary Leader. Yet she suffered from lack of self-confidence and self-esteem that created a growing chasm between her external life experience and her denigrating inner voices.

With the help of Voice Dialogue, she learned to see her accomplishments free from the loud judgments of her Inner Critic. She was able to fully honor her Leader part. She also discovered young, Latino parts of her who were fearful and could not hear the honest praise for who she was and how her visions had contributed to her work. Instead, those parts felt ‘less than’, placated and shameful because of her ethnicity. Voice Dialogue helped her hear the voices that held her back, assisted those young Latino parts of her to come into present time, let go of their old beliefs and learn that her success sourced from her immense capabilities of the Leader in her. When the shamed voices were heard, Maria gained the ability to quiet and parent their concerns. The result was a more peaceful internal experience that allowed her to celebrate her accomplishments and continue growing her Leader parts and expand her personal goals and that of her organization.
