Thank you for your interest in submitting content for TCK Academy. The purpose of this page is to give you an overview of the submission requirements and guidelines to be listed on TCK Academy.
Why submit content for TCK Academy?
# Increased exposure.
You will be featured with an impressive list of prominent leaders in the TCK and Cross-Cultural Transition community such as Ruth Van E. Reken, Robin Pascoe, Donna Musil, Margie Ulsh, Tom Query, Dr. Paulette Bethel, and many more, for a series of intimate and powerful conversations and teleclasses to help you better understand and make practical applications of the gifts of your lived experiences.
Aside from the direct benefit of increased traffic for a few days, you are also exposing your blog (and your name) to a new audience — and helping to brand your expertise, website or blog and yourself in the process.
# Increased traffic.
You will reach our audience of Adult Third Culture Kids and Cross Culture Kids, Parents, Educators, Counselors or anyone else living and working within our diverse community. If you write a guest post for a bigger blog, with a link back to your blog, it will almost certainly increase traffic to your blog, at least for a couple of days.
When I first started Zen Habits, I faced this challenge, just like everyone else does. “I’m writing great stuff,” I would say to myself, “but no one is reading it. What do I do?” I tried guest blogging, and it paid off big time. – Freelance magazine
Invitation Only
1. Guest blogging is by invitation only. We will usually invite specific guests to blog but occasionally, there will be an open invitation to experts to submit their stories/ posts.
A Word of Warning
We will not be able to use everyone’s posts. Any time that we have done something like this we have been inundated with submissions and we fully expect to only to be able to use 10-15 submissions. We don’t say that to discourage you – but to attempt to get some realistic expectations. We will try to use as many submissions as we can but again cannot guarantee to use everyone’s so please don’t be offended if we don’t select yours.
How to get started
Before getting involved in longer projects (affiliation, partnerships, webinars, product creation for our monthly membership, etc), we encourage experts to get started by gaining exposure through being a featured Guest Blogger on TCK Academy. We accept articles, podcasts, videos, and blog posts. We do not accept live teleseminars or classes at the moment.
What to do next
Are you interested in submitting content? Contact us and we will send you a Submission Guidelines PDF with submission guidelines to get started.
